October was a busy month for us at Stewart School. We had perfectly dressed smiling faces for picture day. A big “THANK YOU” to our Photography Committee, who kept the day running smoothly. If you are not satisfied with your photo(s) don’t worry, there is a picture retake scheduled for November 8th. The Photo committee will be there to make sure we have smiles all around. Fifth Grade had their PTA sponsored trip to the Metropolitan Opera, where they watched “La Boheme.” On Unity Day, we were dressed in orange to show our support. Stewart School has parent-teacher conferences coming up, and you should be receiving reminders home from your teachers. Last but not least, please keep clipping and scanning those box tops to earn money towards programs for Stewart School!
With the start of November, we begin the Holiday Season. As always, we will be giving back this season. Stewart School will collect Halloween Candy to be sent to our troops. The final day to send candy in will be November 8th. We will also be doing a collection for Toys for Tots between November 1st and November 14th.
