Happy May! Hope everyone had a wonderful spring break with their family and friends. Spring is in the air and Stewart is busy planning many events before the year ends!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Joint elementary PTA meeting that was held on Wednesday, April 20th. We got an update on the new Innovation Lab at both Stewart and Stratford Schools.
Congratulations to all our Reflections winners. They were recognized on April 3rd at our district wide ceremony. Students and families had a great time looking at all the amazing work and well as live performances!
On April 25th, we welcomed children’s author Amy McCoy to present to our 3rd graders for Autism Awareness Month. The PTA gifted each 3rd grader with a signed copy of her first book, Little Big Sister.
The Stewart Staff Appreciation lunch will be held on May 9th. Our SUG went out last week. Co-chairs are working hard to put together a wonderful day for our amazing teachers and staff.
Last week, our fabulous 5th graders participated in the National Circus Arts Project. They had a fun week practicing followed by the Circus Art Show on Friday, April 28th.
May is full of fun events such as spring concerts, 4th grade opera, 5th FOCUS day, 5th grade trip to the middle school and much more! Keep an eye out for emails and social media post to stay up to date.
