Hard to believe this is the last newsletter of the school year!
May was a busy month: We were treated to an amazing Opera performance, and a Band/Orchestra Concert by our 4th graders! The 2nd graders put on a wonderful patriotic music concerts. What a great way to celebrate Memorial Day.
In May, we also celebrated Everyone Matters Day. It was a fun filled event in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. The children participated in a variety of stress relief activities.
We also got a chance to show our gratitude to all Stewart teachers and staff with our annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon. Thank you to Brooke McHugh and Tara Kelly our Stewart committee chair and Gina Donavan, our committee head for their hard work and creativity in making this a reality. And a big thank you to all who donated.
This month we look forward to our 5th grade Band/Orchestra Concerts.
Good luck to our Fifth Graders as they begin the next chapter in their education career. Enjoy the summer!
I could not end the last newsletter of the year without wishing Ms. Norton a wonderful retirement. It is a very bittersweet time for Stewart School. I know everyone wishes her nothing but the best! We are so excited for Mrs. Hand to step in as our new Stewart School Principal.
We are already planning for next year, and the signup genus is ready! If you are interested in a position, please sign up and I will contact you to discuss the details. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B4EA8AD2CA02-stewart11
