Happy 2025, Locust! I hope everyone enjoyed a happy and healthy holiday season!
Winter Concerts were a highlight of December! Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students practiced for months and it showed. Families loved attending the event and sharing in the holiday spirit.
Families were greeted with festive decorations while attending the Winter Concerts. Locust was decorated beautifully for the holiday season thanks to Lindsay Weber, Kristin George and the rest of the Beautification Committee’s fantastic efforts. Thank you to all of the families who donated decorations.
Many students logged on to Zoom to hear Mr. Hartigan (Stratford’s Principal) read The Polar
Express, an event organized by the PARP committee. Thank you to Alyssa Vitez and Hana Noble, from our GCPTA PARP. Stay tuned for more great PARP events this winter. We are still in search of a PARP Committee Chair for Locust. If you are interested please reach out to Locust GCPTA.

Many Locust students participated in the PTA Reflections competition. The children are so talented! Our Locust PTA Reflections Committee Chair, Jax Curtin, worked so hard to make the competition successful. Congratulations to our Locust winners:
