Happy June Homestead,
I cannot believe we are in our final month of the school year! May was filled with so many fantastic events.
Thank you to everyone who donated and volunteered to make our Staff Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, May 13th, such a success. The teachers and staff were blown away with the thoughtfulness and generosity of our school families.
It was wonderful seeing so many of you at the Spring Sing performances on Wednesday, May 14th and Thursday, May 15th. Thank you to Mrs. Glickman for all her hard work on the music pieces and Ms. Leyland for the beautiful student artwork placed around the multipurpose room. Special shoutout to our bunny rabbit, Mr. Kenny, who stole the show with his cameo.

Also, congratulations to our Homestead sticker contest winner, Emmie DeMuth, for her beautiful pink goat with rainbow smiley faces. All Homestead students will receive a copy of Emmie’s sticker.
To our UPK students zoned for different primary schools and First Grade students moving on to Stratford, we wish you the best of luck. We hope to have you stop by and visit as there is truly no place like Homestead.
As this school year comes to an end, we’re already planning for the upcoming school year. There are many opportunities to volunteer for our various committees at Homestead and district-wide. If you have any questions in regards to any committees or positions, please reach out.
I wanted to take a moment to thank all of our PTA volunteers. So many of you have donated your time and your resources to make this a fantastic year for our students! A special thank you to all of the class parents, grade representatives, and committee chairs. It has been a pleasure getting to know so many of the wonderful Homestead families.
Warmly,
Hana Noble
