Dear Homestead Families,
It’s hard to believe this extraordinary year is winding down. It’s not how I imagined wrapping up my 5 years as a Homestead parent, but it has definitely made me appreciate how truly special our Homestead community is. From my very first moments as a Homestead parent, I’ve always been reminded of the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” Thank you whole-heartedly Homestead families, teachers and staff for being my village. It has been an absolute honor to serve as your PTA director these past two years and help our children learn and grow alongside you. Thank you! I wish you all a relaxing and rejuvenating summer with your families and look forward to when our village can be back together again :)
Good Luck to Our First Graders!
To our first grade students moving on to Stratford, we wish you the best of luck! You and your families will always be part of the Homestead family, and we cannot wait for the day you are able to come back and visit again!
To their families, thank you for all the time, energy and effort you have put into making Homestead the special place it is! A tremendous THANK YOU to Jenn McCann and Caroline Hoffman for working tirelessly to create the special first grade memory book for our children. Stay tuned for a pick-up announcement; the kids are sure to treasure it!
Thank You to Our Volunteers!
I’ve always been amazed by the support of our Homestead families. You are always willing to pitch in to make Homestead an amazing school. Your love for our school and our children is so greatly appreciated, and we thank you for contributing your time, talent and resources to Homestead this past year.
A special thank you to our class parents and Homestead PTA Board! I have loved working with each and every one of you. One of my favorite parts of being director was getting to meet so many of you and work alongside you.
Welcome to our new Homestead Director, Danielle Livingston!
Please join me in welcoming our incoming Homestead Director, Danielle! Danielle is always willing to lend a helping hand and brings incredible warmth and enthusiasm to the role. We are very lucky to have her at Homestead!
