Course selection for all students will be digital through grade-specific Google forms (similar to the 8th-grade course selection over the last few years). Google Forms will be active from February 1st through February 14th at 3pm. A Parentsquare was sent on February 1st with all the links per grade level.

Guidance News
Encourage your senior to stop by the Counseling Center to learn about the various scholarship opportunities that are available.
Students should check Naviance as well for additional information. They can also use the Guidance Office Google Classroom to stay updated on all matters relating to guidance (Classroom Code: ipujguk)
The following are some of the scholarships that are available, and all applications can be obtained in the Counseling Center:
- The Dante Scholarship – Due March 6th. Requirements include the following: one parent must be of Italian descent, have above-average SAT scores, and have a successful academic and extracurricular record.
- Julia Maloney Scholarship – Due March 7th. This is a $12,000 scholarship awarding
- $3,000 per year for four years. Candidates must attend a post-secondary education program with a weighted average of at least 90. Applications include submission of an essay describing the impact a special teacher had in your life.
- Unsung Hero Scholarship- Due March 7th. All Seniors are encouraged to apply for this scholarship!
Do you know a classmate with some unique qualities?
- One who has faced some unique circumstances or challenges?
- One who has put the needs of others ahead of his/her own?
- One who has inspired or motivated you in a positive way that is not typically recognized or rewarded?
Seniors are required to write an essay of 300-400 words to nominate a deserving classmate as the Unsung Hero from the Class of 2025. The Unsung Hero will be awarded a $2000 scholarship and the Nominator will receive a $1000 scholarship.
