Welcome back, Garden City High School Community!
On behalf of the Garden City Parent Teacher Association, welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! My name is Donna Kraus, and I am excited to serve as your High School PTA Director this year.
The High School is already buzzing with activity! We kicked off the year by welcoming the Class of 2030 at
Freshman Orientation and the Freshman BBQ, and now we’re ready for an exciting year ahead. From special events and beloved traditions, there will be many opportunities for families to get involved, stay connected, and be part of the Garden City High School community.

Your annual membership covers all the schools your children attend. I hope you will join me in supporting the PTA. Ways to Get Involved
As we kick off the year, I would like to thank the High School PTA Board for volunteering to represent PTA
committees and chair School committees. We are very lucky to be in a school district that values parent
collaboration and works closely with PTA committees to make a difference for our children.
There are also many ways to get involved at the High School, and volunteers are needed throughout the year usually for short-term and limited time commitments. Please use this link - https://form.typeform.com/to/HuLc6EQc - to volunteer and feel free to contact me for more information or if you have questions. Involvement is easy, and there is something for everyone and every schedule! Join one of the many PTA committees that help shape our children’s academic experience.
Please feel free to contact me at highschool@gardencitypta.org if you have any questions or concerns. I
sincerely thank you for your continued support of the PTA and I look forward to working with you towards a
wonderful and successful year.
Sincerely,
Donna Kraus
