I hope everyone had a wonderful spring break. The weather was incredible here in NY, and hopefully you were all able to enjoy some R&R whether you went away or stayed local. Wishing all of the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures a Happy Mothers Day this month- you are so appreciated!
Be sure to regularly check the Middle School website for daily announcements, the calendar, along with the PTA website and social media to keep up on what is happening around our schools.
An updated club schedule with specific dates for the month is on the MS website and it is live. All changes to club meeting dates will be made on this and will be current. Mr. Samuelson will also attach the schedule in his weekly updates.
MS Events
On Tuesday, May 23rd, the Middle School will be hosting a staff appreciation lunch for the staff as we do every year. A sign up genius will go out shortly if you would like to contribute.
The Reflections Awards ceremony took place on 4/3/23. Thank you to the Reflections Committee for a beautiful ceremony recognizing the achievements of our talented students. Photos of the winners were posted on the PTA social media. Congratulations to all of the MS winners once again- we are so proud of them!
Our last PTA meeting of the year took place on 4/19/23 virtually. The topics that were discussed were the requirements for the National Junior Honor Society, preparing for the move from 7th to 8th grade, preparing for the move from 8th to 9th grade, honors classes in 8th grade, and reviewing the transcript and how classes are listed on it. The meeting was very informational and meeting minutes will go up on our website once approved.
The 8th grade party was on April 21, 2023 from 7-8:30p and as anticipated, the 8th graders had a blast! There was a DJ, pizza, snacks, desserts and games. Over 200 8th graders signed up and we are so excited that this grade was able to celebrate!
