MIDDLE SCHOOL PTA

May 2026 Newsletter

Spring is in the air!   The fourth quarter of school is here - final stretch - and our spring sports are underway!  Summer break is right around the corner.

MS Events 

Family Bingo Night, sponsored by the PTA, SEPTA and the Anti-Bullying Task Force, was held on Friday, March 27.  Families of all grades came out for Bingo, Trivia, Pizza and Prizes.  Thank you to all who attended and to the parent, student and staff volunteers who made the night a success.  A special thank you to our 8th grade rep, Tiffany Scola, who is a fundraising machine and brought in the vast majority of the fantastic prizes given out at Bingo.

Our next event will be the Staff Appreciation Lunch on May 11.  We are so lucky to have such fantastic teachers, support staff and administration working with our children every day.  Please consider making a donation to show them how much we appreciate them.

Looking ahead, our 8th Grade Ice Cream Social and Yearbook Signing will take place on Friday, June 12.  And closing out the year will be our 6th Grade End of Year Bowling Bash, scheduled for Friday, June 19th from 11 am - 12:30 pm at AMF Garden City Lanes at 987 Stewart Avenue.  Details and sign up genius will be sent out later this month.  Save the date!

PTA Meetings

PTA meetings provide parents with school updates from our principal and teachers, as well as from our guest speakers. The meetings are a great way to learn what is going on in and around school.  I look forward to having you join us!

Our final Middle School PTA Meeting of the year took place on Thursday, April 23.  Mr. Escobar provided important information about scheduling and course changes for next year.  If you missed the April meeting, or any meetings from this year, you can find them all on our website.  

The next PTA meeting is our All Schools Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, May 6 at 7:30 pm in the Middle School Cafeteria or via zoom.  Register here!
